Customized Canvas Tote Bag

Creating your own tote bag is simpler than it sounds—just cut some fabric squares and stitch them together!

Judy, our expert instructor with over 50 years of sewing experience, brings a wealth of knowledge to every class. This 6-hour tote bag workshop is spread over two days, giving beginners time to stay focused and inspired throughout the process.

You're encouraged to bring your own sewing machine so Judy can help you get familiar with it and answer any questions you may have. Don’t have a machine yet? No problem—we have machines available for use, and it’s a great opportunity to try different brands before deciding on one.

Each student makes a tote bag tailored to their needs, so sizes may vary! You can find the step-by-step instructions and different size patterns under the ‘DIY Kits’ tab on this website. There, you can purchase just the pattern or a full kit to sew at home.
